SLURP RUSH
When Fortnite geared up for the launch of Reload and their Slurp Rush update — a fast-paced twist that enhanced Slurp Juice’s healing powers and added new momentum to the gameplay — they reached out to us with a unique challenge. The concept was to create a fake commercial for Slurp Juice, the iconic in-game healing item that's famously "1% juice, 99% slurp." We pitched a range of ideas, but the one that resonated most with the marketing team was a 90’s-inspired parody — channeling the spirit of classic Capri Sun ads and the vibrant, over-the-top energy of the era.
We were thrilled when Eric Andre and Kyle Mooney, our dream choices for the project, came on board. Our team led the full creative process — from screenwriting to production to post — ensuring every detail captured the nostalgic tone. To achieve a truly authentic 90’s look, we collaborated with a VHS roundtrip specialist who processed the final cut through vintage equipment. This project was a dream opportunity and a true team-wide achievement, blending creative ambition with technical craft to bring a standout moment to Fortnite’s campaign.
