OG: CHAPTER 3 TRAILER
When Fortnite’s OG Season 3 originally launched back in 2018, it marked a major turning point for the game, introducing now-iconic elements like the Hand Cannon, Launch Pad, and the much-loved Lucky Landing location. With the return of OG Season 3 during Fortnite’s Reload, excitement was at an all-time high — players were eager to relive the early days when the mysterious meteorite first appeared in the sky, hinting at even bigger changes to come. We had the opportunity to conceptualize and produce a trailer that celebrated this era, showcasing these beloved items and locations that helped shape Fortnite into a global phenomenon.
Continuing our formula of pairing nostalgia with iconic music, we decided to pay homage to Michael Bay’s 1998 classic Armageddon by setting the trailer to Aerosmith’s I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing. The emotional weight and cinematic feel of the track perfectly matched the sense of wonder and anticipation from that original season. The final product struck such a chord that Aerosmith themselves shared the video on their official Instagram — a true highlight for our team and a testament to the power of tapping into both gaming and cultural nostalgia.
