CODE ALONG: SEASON 1

CODE Along is a free, video-based coding academy by Black Girls CODE in partnership with GoldieBlox. Good Boy had the pleasure of providing full-service production for the entire Season 1 of the show. We produced 18 coding tutorials, 10 mentorship videos, and 25 social media clips over the course of 2 weeks of film production.

In these 15 minutes or less episodes, CODE Along is designed to reach millions of underrepresented girls and arm them with the tech skills and confidence they need to build brighter futures. Speaking of future innovators – we also chatted with nearly a dozen girl bosses about their careers in animation, digital art, NFTs, gaming, and more. At Black Girls Code, young women, and students of all genders receive tangible, educational, and entertaining tutorials to help incite interest in computer science and technology.

With fun and impactful projects, simple step-by-step lessons, this series encourages you to code along while our expert coders make digital art, animated art, and build obstacle courses (aka an obby) in Roblox.
